Cutter's Starlite Two

Bella is a 2001 mare by Bay Starlite out of a Tiger Leo mare. We purchased Bella from Sherman Tegtmeier at the 2004 Sandhills Slide Futurity.

Miss Unlucky

Bella's career is one of those "if anything can go wrong". It seems her career has been one medical crisis after another, none of which her fault. Because of these problems her show career has been severly limited. After showing Bella in the Limited Non Pro at the 2005 Sandhills Slide Show Bella tore a suspensory ligament. After healing from that she developed a somewhat chronic quarter crack. Her latest crisis was to get tangled in a pipe gate and cut her front leg down to the canon bone. We thought we were going to have to put her down but she came through it.

Show Career

Due to her crises Bella's show career was, of course, limited. But when able to go, she was impressive. At her first show she won second place at the Limited Non Pro at the 2005 Sandhills Slide show. In 2007 she was the Champion Novice Horse Non Pro in the Central Plains Reining Horse Association with Barb showing.

Bella is currently in training with Carla Clay in Whitesboro, TX.
